Club Jerseys
We have our own club jersey which can be made to order by Soigneur, a New Zealand company specialising in merino wool cycling jerseys.
About the design
The design incorporates the club colours of green, gold (yellow) and blue. The jerseys are longer at the back so that they sit well when bent over on the bike. The sleeve length also allows for being stretched out a little on the bike. The pockets are quite deep so you can fit plenty of things in them although David from Soigneur doesn’t recommend too many heavy items as the jerseys do have more stretch than a polyester jersey.
Members considering purchasing should note that this is a jersey, not a jacket. From Soigneur’s web page:
Soigneur merino cycling jerseys are most comfortable over the range from 10° to 25°. Add arm-warmers and a light jacket and that’s all you’ll need.
Cost
The cost is $205 for long sleeve and $196 for short sleeve. It’s an extra $11 for a zip that goes the full length of the jersey. $15 postage.

Sizing

Please note the chest measurement is most important, even for the woman’s cut. If you are on the tall side Soigneur will add a little to the length.
